The XIII Asian Games (aka Bangkok 98) will be held at 3 main venues, viz Hua Mark Sport Center, Bangkok Land Sports Complex (Muang Thong Thani) and Rangsit Sports Complex (Thamnaset University). In addition to these 3 main venues, specific event will be held at other sites. Please follow the above links to get to know about these venues.
Hua Mark Sports Center Hua Mark Sports Center

Hua Mark Sports Center is located in the compound of the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) at Ramkhamhaeng Road, Hua Mark, Bangkapi District, Bangkok. See Location Map.

The Hua Mark Sports Center holds the following facilities:

  • Rajamangala National Stadium : the venue for the Opening & Closing ceremonies, Football and Athletics with a seating capacity of 60,000.
  • Indoor Stadium : the venue for Sepak Takraw, with a seating capacity of 12,000.
  • Velodrome : the venue for Cycling, with a seating capacity of 2,000.
  • Shooting Range : the training and competition venue, with a seating capacity of 2,000.
  • Clay Target Shooting Range : competition venue, with a seating capacity of 500.

Bangkok Land Sports Complex Bangkok Land Sports Complex
Bangkok Land Sports Complex is within the compound of Muang Thong Thani, Chaengwattana Road, Pakkret, Nonthaburi, Bangkok. See Location Map.

Bangkok Land Sports Complex The Bangkok Land Sports Complex holds the following facilities:

  • Boxing Ringside : seating capacity of 10,000.
  • Gymnastics Ringside : seating capacity of 5,000.
  • Weightlifting Ringside : seating capacity of 5,000.
  • Volleyball Courts : seating capacity of 3,000.
  • Billiards & Snooker Pools
  • Rugby Football field cum Athletic training, with seating capacity of 5,000.
  • Tennis Courts : a total of 12.
  • Swimming Pools : a total of 12.

Gymnasium Main Stadium Aquatics Center

Rangsit Sports Complex is located at Thammasat University, Rangsit Campus, Paholyothin Road, Klong Luang, Pathumthani District, Bangkok. The Rangsit Sports Complex holds the following facilities:
  • The Main Stadium : with seating capacity of 20,000; with the Aquatic Center with seating capacity of 5,000.
  • Gymnasiums : a total of 7, for Badminton, Handball, Karatedo, Taekwondo, Wushu, Basketball, Wrestling, Judo, Table Tennis, Fencing and Sepak Takraw.
